Sydney singer/songwriter Holly Throsby has had an incredibly busy 18 months. Following 2008’s internationally acclaimed A Loud Call, Holly recorded her team album in the NSW southern highlands in early 2010.
She toured nationally twice in 2011 to support the release but not one for idle thumbs and fingers, Holly also revealed to the world her first album of children’s songs See! and squeezed in a trip to NYC to record with her friends Sarah Blasko and Sally Seltman under the guise of Seeker Lover Keeper. That eponymous release became Holly’s third release within 12 months.
Two sold out Seeker Lover Keeper tours later coupled with two Aria award nominations (for See! and Seeker Lover Keeper), Holly has been wrapping up 2011 with a slot on the They Will Have Their Way tribute to the Finn brothers and heads into 2012 ready for festival appearances and European touring…. Before she heads back into the studio for album number five.
