The Table (POLAND)
Perth Fringe Award Winner 2012
March 13, 2012 to March 18, 2012
Karbido’s The Table is a world-class musical project, an out-and-out instrumental avant-garde that proves that an unlimited imagination poses no limits to music.
A piece of furniture – a table – is transformed into a potent musical instrument capable of playing everything from ethereal percussion and jazz to heavy metal. Using strings, bows, coins and wine glasses as well as fists, Karbido produces an exciting, original and innovative performance that was a sell out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
The table at hand is stuffed with ultra-sensitive devices capable of detecting and amplifying the most delicate vibrations and transforming them into sounds that create an electrifying performance.
Please note: ticket price includes complimentary drink on arrival on opening night.
