The Famous Spiegeltent is presented by Arts Centre Melbourne, the largest performing arts centre in Australia attracting more than 2.7 million visitors each year, and is situated in the heart of Melbourne’s cultural precinct.

History
The Famous Spiegeltent was built in 1920. Since Marlene Dietrich sang Falling In Love Again in the 1930s, her magic mirrors have reflected thousands of images of artists, audiences and exotic gatherings. She is a star in her own right, hosting parties, concerts, clubs and a myriad of stunning performances, launching the careers of countless artists travelling the world.

How to get here
Train
– Flinders Street Station is a 5-minute walk away across Princess Bridge over the Yarra River.
Tram – Stop 14 in St Kilda Road is located out the front of Arts Centre Melbourne and all north and sound-bound trams running along St Klda Road stop here (routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67 and 72)
Car – There is limited and display parking around the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the Botanic Gardens, Arts Centre Melbourne has one large undercover car park open 24 hours, seven days a week. The entrance is located at the corner of Sturt and Kavanagh Streets, Southbank.
